During dinner the Champions got up to meet their fellow Champions and hand out gifts from their home state and sign autographs. Erika with the TMC Foundation gave Brandon 51 stuffed Thomas the turtle animals that had Tucson Medical Center embroidered on them. Everyone loved them! Brandon is very good at signing his name now too.
After dinner each Champion had their own table and a signature stamp so they could autograph hundreds of sponsors' books. It was great to meet all the people who made our trip possible and have raised money for CMN.
Football star Steve Young read a story about a boy who lost his smile and found it at a Children's Hospital. Brandon is sitting in the back row to the right of the boy with the blonde hair.
Julianne Hough sang and danced with the Champions, she shook Brandon's hand but I didn't have my camera ready.
Tomorrow morning our Champions will go up on stage one at a time to accept their gold medal from Olympic gymnast Mary Lour Retton.
