Brandon, Tyler, Brad, and I pulled ourselves out of bed at 3:30 this morning and left Tucson aboard Delta Airlines at 6:15am. During the three and a half hour flight to Atlanta, Brandon played his Nintendo DS and completed a few pages of his math homework. After an hour layover in Atlanta we headed for Orlando where we were greeted by very helpful CMN personnel who filled us in on what our next steps were and got us to the boarding area for Disney’s Magical Express. We arrived at Disney’s Coronado Resort around 5pm EST where we were met by a cheering crowd, given all kinds of goodies, and played fun games in the lobby before heading up to our room. We had a wonderful dinner and then took a stroll around the resort where we met other Champions from around the country and Canada. We are looking forward to breakfast tomorrow morning where we will have the opportunity to meet more Champions and their family.
