Medal Ceremony

This morning was very emotional watching all the children who have overcome so much in their lives go up on stage one by one and receive their medal. To see their smiles and how happy they were today despite all of their challenges was very inspirational. My pictures didn't come out very well because of all the stage lights but here is one of Brandon when he was about to receive his medal.

We ran into Mary Lou Retton in the hallway and she was gracious enough to let us take her picture. Mary Lou was the keynote speaker this morning, she is a very good motiviational speaker.

After the ceremony we headed off to EPCOT where we did a lot of walking. We walked through England, France, Morroco, Japan, Early America, and Italy. We are now heading out to Magic Kingdom.

We have tomorrow free to spend at a park and then Sunday we will board a plane, chartered just for CMN, and head to Washington DC. We got final confirmation last night that President Obama will meet us on Tuesday. The Champions were told to have a question in mind to ask him. Please let me know what you think we should ask. We were told not to make it too difficult. We'll check back and Brandon will select one.
